al-Quaeda Regrouped In Pakistan

If the purpose of Iraq was ever to keep us safe from terrorism by fighting al-Quaeda, the Bush administration has officially failed.

A report from the Government Accountability Office states that terrorists move freely along the Pakistani border, and that al-Quaeda has formed a safe haven there.

More importantly, the GAO report states that they found "broad agreement... that al-Qaida had regenerated its ability to attack the United States."

To this day, we still don't have a working security plan for the Pakistani border.
