Brimer Files Second Lawsuit Against Davis' Candidacy

After the first failed attempt at suing Wendy Davis to get her off the ballot, Kim Brimer is trying again to avoid having to run for reelection to his state Senate seat in Tarrant County.

Kim Brimer has filed suit against Davis, as well as Tarrant County Democratic Party chair Steve Maxwell and Texas Democratic Party chair Boyd Richie, challenging Wendy Davis' place on the ticket in Senate District 10 on the same grounds as the previous lawsuit, which Davis won. It is not hard to imagine that Kim Brimer's timing, coming after favorable polls for Davis early on as well as the continued scandals stemming from Brimer's misuse of campaign funds, is more than just mere coincidence.
