Give Thanks For: Optimism

After years of being in the minority party one thing we have
never lost is our optimism. Our collective sense that when we work
together, Democrats can do something to improve everyone's life.

From campaigns to activists, the TDP to our local party, everyone is
fighting for the same thing-- to make Texas a better place. Democrats want
to give children insurance, make college affordable, and curb increasing
energy prices, and we are willing to work hard together to achieve these
laudable goals.

I am thankful to have worked for so many great people and see the optimism
they all have. To be around people that believe with hard work anything can
be achieved.

To every person who has worked on a Democratic campaign, volunteered to
blockwalk or phonebank, to every donor, to every legislative staffer and
party staffer, and everyone else who is working hard for what they believe--
thank you for all you have done.
