Matt Glazer has served as a Senior Writer for the Burnt Orange Report since August. Matt started blogging sporadically in 2003 on the Howard Dean Campaign and blogged from the floor at the 2004 National Democratic Convention in Boston. Matt has worked as a field director, strategist for online organizing, and director of e-mail operations on over 30 campaigns as well as a writer for his very first site called Just Another Blog.
Matt has recently been involved with the SecStateProject.org, DriveDemocracy.org, John Courage for Congress, Bree Buchanan for the 3rd Court of Appeals, Texas Progress Council, and during the 80th Legislative Session he will be working for Representative Pete Gallego.
Matt is originally from the Houston area and he graduated from Trinity University in 2004 with a degree in Political Science. Matt now works in Austin.
